1 . 21 Jump Street – Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum make a hilarious crime fighting duo in “21 Jump Street,” the movie based on the Johnny Depp TV series of the 1980’s. Both actors show why they are rising stars in Hollywood with their deft portrayals of two policemen who go undercover at a local high school. Box office collection of this movies was $43,947,031 til the date.

Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax – The new 3-D animated “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” begins with that fuzzy orange creature, amiably voiced by Danny DeVito, stepping out in front of a theater curtain to announce “there’s more to this story than what’s on the page.” This 3D, animated, idiotically musicalized version of The Lorax thoroughly debases the genius of the good doctor’s book, adding characters, twisting plot points, and replacing Seuss subtlety with Hollywood frenzy. Everything organic in Seuss’ 1971 illustrated book looks pasted on.
3. John Carter – Top movies of 2012 John Carter has the vibe of a classic story with the explosive appeal of a modern heavy-hitting blockbuster. Despite its predictable nature, John Carter’s action and story are stellar. The film is worth the price of admission if it takes us out of our seats and throw us into something amazing. That is exactly what John Carter manages to accomplish. With its beautifully-crafted world and epic tale, John Carter makes us forget that we’re sitting in a theater and transports us into a whole new world.
4. Project X – Project X says nothing meaningful about its subject matter, and instead paints teens as an unlikeable and, worse yet, reckless bunch of automatons that would risk injury to themselves as well as others just for a passing glance from a pretty girl. However, the film’s greatest offense (far worse than its immature take on teen culture) is the surprising lack of entertainment value it presents.
5. Journey 2 - The Mysterious Island – Top movies 2012 Journey 2 is just a fun ride from beginning to end. It’s not a piece of classic cinema by any means, but between some great set pieces, a healthy mix of non-threatening action, (chessy) kid-friendly comedy, and some likable leading performers, you can easily set this Journey above the one that proceeded it.

The Avengers – The Avengers is a team of fictional superhero characters in comic books published by Marvel Comics. the Avengers originally consisted of Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk. the Avengers fight the foes no single superhero can withstand – hence their famous cry of “Avengers Assemble!” The team has featured humans, robots, gods, aliens, supernatural beings and even former villains.
